‘UP’ is a singular read. Academics have hailed it as the most comprehensive explanation of the meaning of life ever written. People suffering from emotional dysregulation have called it a ‘Godsend’. It demystifies death, spirituality, and the universe, while presenting a new and remarkably powerful perspective on psychology. In a world where the leading cause of death for people aged 15 to 44 is suicide, and psychiatric professionals are seven times more likely to take their own lives than the general population, the world faces a crisis. The lessons in this book are the remedy to stop and reverse humanity’s decline.
Oscar's story will resonate with a society grappling with hopelessness, meaninglessness, and dissatisfaction. It interprets the esoteric through complex yet accessible stories and dialogue that draw the reader into its winding, captivating, and fascinating narrative. It lifts and energises the reader with humour, intrigue, and exhilarating storytelling.
I read this book because I was struggling, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it for anyone needing a completely fresh outlook on life. It pulled me from the edge and onto solid, joyful, and grateful ground. I’d swim an ocean with this book in my teeth to get it to a loved one in need. Now that I am equipped with its message, I can not only stand on my own two feet but also be a warm, welcoming fireside cabin in the snow for others feeling winter's icy grip on their mental health and sense of purpose.

It's quite normal for autistic people to have a special interest, an obsession that dominates their thinking and doing throughout their lives. At the age of seven, Victor S. Brightman, an Asperger's boy, couldn't accept that no one knew what happened after death and why we are all here in the first place, not even the who, what or why of God. He concluded that for him, until these questions were answered, no others were worth asking. This became his obsession, which only intensified with time. What separated him from most other autistic children was his severe dyslexia, which made reading too painful a proposition for him to even ponder. Finding no answers from others, he turned his attention inward. A near-death experience not only fuelled this passion but also seemed to enable it as he heard from a Guide as a constant companion from a very early age. Despite having never read a book and only attending school until the age of thirteen, he had an enduring love for words and writing.
As he grew, so did his spiritual connectivity, and he lives in a world of visions, teaching, love, encouragement and laughter. This internal paradise became his school for spiritual exploration. He developed the connection between the conscious and subconscious minds, which enables these limitless discoveries. The only time he reads is when his subconscious mind is writing. It is always 100% channelled with no conscious input.
His writings are based on cosmology and offer a fresh perspective on emotions, thought, psychology, evolution, biology, metaphysics, the afterlife, and philosophy. Everything is interwoven into masterpieces of compelling narrative to enthral the reader's conscious mind while their subconscious is left revelling in epiphanies falling like a soft rain. His books are experienced rather than merely read, an experience like no other, one that every person should take this unique opportunity to enjoy. We at Sulhe House are thrilled to have him aboard.
